Even with the downturn in sales across the country, Dumont has held pretty steady, selling exactly the same number of homes in '09 as it did in '08. Even the list and sales prices are very similar, which is not like many surrounding towns, who have seen a dramatic decline in list and sales prices.

One of the reasons Dumont has been pretty resilient to the market downturn, is is school system, its taxes, and its ease of commute to NYC.

As of 7/18/09 at 9pm, there were 59 residential homes for sale in Dumont.
Their prices range from $229,000 to $625,000.
