First I want to say thank you to everyone who participated by entering a comment and/or a guess.  Belwo is the whole sequence of photos.

The pictures you see here where taking at Yellowstone National Park in the morning of June 29, 2009.  I hope you are as pleasantly surprised as I was to see the following scene unfold in front of me.

I hope you enjoyed this memorable moment from my most recent visit to Yellowstone.  I don't think words can properly describe the amazement I experienced watching this doe and her newly born fawn.  I hope the above sequence of pictures did a better job at expressing that feeling.

Gerry - These are such amazing pictures.  I had suspected that it may be a doe and her fawn, but couldn't tell heads from tails in of the first picture, to guess for certain:-)

How wonderful to be there and capture it in your photos Gerry.  We had the same thing happen in our driveway last season.  One fawn dropped in the driveway and I captured it, then the doe wandered over the embankment and dropped another.  TWINS...I was thrilled!

That little fawn is beautiful.   Nature is so amazing.  It has always amazed me that just moments after birth these little ones are wobbling around and learning to walk.  Priceless photos!
