Craig, now that looks like a fun place to go! Great post, any of those pictures of Craig-ettes?
For Father's Day one year I took my two boys to a similar place and they decorated a huge plate for my husband to hold the burgers once they were finished grilling. It was a great gift because he still uses it!
Craig, I love these special places for children....it really brings out their creativity and FUN.
Hi Craig, What a fun way to spend the day, and wait with anticipation to see the finished product!
What a neat place! I just may have to put on my 'kid' clothes and head over there one day! I used to make porcelain dolls and just love painting ceramic items. Wooohoooo - I may have found a hangout ... as long as I'm not too old. LOL
Craig, I have to tell you the Paint Your Pot name had me thinking that y'all were decorating toilets down there is sunny land!
Hi Craig:
What a great idea!
I'm sure kid's parties there are a lot of fun!
Have a great weekend...
Dear Craig,
This is a great local post. I have done this with my nieces and we had a great time! By the way Andrea I think the dark haired girl is a Craig-ette.
;)
Craig, we have a similar place here that I keep meaning to go to...looks like fun....no photo shop of you on a pot? Just saying......LOL
Craig - What a great post. I had no idea this existed. Might take the kids there this weekend! Another reason why the quality of life is great in our area.
Hey, Craig. Maria and I have always wanted to do this. It looks like a lot of fun. Thanks, Jim
Andrea - Thank you Andrea! PYP is definitely a cool place to go to. And, yes, the dark haired one is a Craig-ette!
Wanda - Now that's a cool story. We've been making light switch plate covers recently and they're coming out great!
Carole - It's so neat to see the smiles on the children's faces when are working on something and then when they see the final result.
Mary - It's a great way to spend an afternoon. Especially when it's too hot to be outside!
Carol - You're not too old. There are plenty of people our age at PYP. Let me know when you head on over and I'll meet you there!
Caren - Caren, Caren, Caren. You really need to wait until you've at least had your morning coffee before blog commenting!
Toula - Kids parties are a blast there....no matter what age those kids are!
Betina - Thank you my friend! I'll bet the time you shared with your neices at your "Paint Your Pot" are ones thay'll never forget. And good call on the Craig-ette!
Kristin - Just for you Kristin.......
Nevin - Definitely take the kids there. You'll have a great time...and so will they!
Jim - You come in to town, bring the kids, we'll all go to Paint Your Pot, and you can stay here!
I love these places! We used to have one in the Mooresville area too but it closed down. I don't know why because I faintly remember how busy it was all the time
Sandy - Come to Cary! This Paint Your Pot is busy too. But there's always room for one more!
Hi Craig! I love these places--we have them here too and I used to take my boys to make holiday gifts (plates with hand prints, etc.) Great local post!
Debe - LOVE these kind of places! They're a great way to spend some quality time with the kids, create something you'll have forever, and just plain relax.
Craig, this looks like a great place to take the kids on one of these hot summer afternoons!
Connie - It's definitely a great place to take the kids on a hot summer afternoon.....and we all know that we get a lot of those here in the south!
