The Ultimate Website Checklist - 32 Things to Evaluate in Your Website

By
Real Estate Agent with Dakno Marketing

Every now and then, real estate agents need to take a step back and objectively look at their website. One of the biggest challenges in doing so is knowing exactly what to look for. With this in mind, I have created a checklist that breaks down important components of your website. I suggest you go though each section and write down your answers. Remember it's important to be objective! It just may reveal some interesting information. Below is an overview of the checklist. My other blog contains the full Real Estate Website Checklist that goes into more detail about each of the components listed below.

I'm sure she doesn't want to hear "Honey, I know we are on vacation but I need to make sure I get my comment points on Active Rain."

To Your Success,

Thanks so much for the information.  I will definitely review this several times.  How can I print the article without printing all the comments?

Oh by the way I just objectively looked at my site and became frustrated - thanks a lot!

Seriously, what value do you place in visitors having to login to access certain features?  I see two sides to that concept.

Jeff: Just doing my job :-)  I typically don't like to make people login to access features. It makes you the gatekeeper. Visitors hate it when your holding something back. On the other hand, a site visitor will gladly give up their information if they thing it's something that is more valuable than they would typically get on a site, or something that could not easily be delivered via the web (such as a printed booklet).

Thanks for the information - I already had a list of things to do to improve my website - now it is a little bit longer.  I am starting to see why people get paid good money to manage websites - it is a LOT of work!

Rita - Yes, it's a lot of work. Luckily, we incorporate all these items into our client's websites. So they can just relax and work the leads.
