My new listing-to-be in Montlake is nearing the end of it's date with a contractor who is giving it a bit of a polish readying it for it's debut on Seattle's Real Estate Market in a week or so when I officially become it's Listing Agent. There have been many details to attend to for my client who lives out of state. Since the home is getting closer to its debut, I have been spending even more time at the house and working with the contractor in my client's absence.
The Montlake neighborhood is absolutely gorgeous right now with our mild Spring weather producing lush flowers, lawns, shrubs and trees. On a recent Wednesday afternoon and evening, I spent it planting flowers for the newly redone front yard and noticed all the walkers, some with their beautiful dogs, and joggers out in the afternoon and evening. Many passer-bys gave me complements on how wonderful "my garden" (to complicated to explain that I was the Real Estate Agent !) was turning out.
The many Tudor style homes in Montlake, the lovely gardens and parks reminds me of what I imagine England must be like, of course since I have never actually been to England, my mental images are based on movies and books! The neighborhood is surrounded by parks so it's very green and peaceful. Since much of Montlake is level with some gentle slopes, the neighborhood is perfect for enjoying an evening stroll or jog. There are many great places to walk, jog or ride a bike in Seattle, neighborhoods like Green Lake , Alki and of course the many parks in Seattle, but not so many places that are the neighborhood itself like Montake.
My Client's home is returning to it's previous lovely state with the pampering it has been receiving this spring, and like the Montlake neighborhood itself, springtime refreshed and soon ready to be enjoyed by it's new owners. If you are thinking of selling your Montlake home and would be interested in the care, service and expert marketing I can provide, please contact me and can meet and discuss your specific real estate needs. And if you are thinking of buying a Montlake home or one in the surrounding neighborhoods, please feel free to contact me and we will talk about what you are looking for and develop a plan to find it!
