When I am not practicing real estate in Bellingham or investing in real estate I am lucky enough to live in one of the best areas in the US for fishing.  Whether you fly fish or use gear fishing our local rivers is a great way to escape the corporate world.   I like to think about it as my therapy. 

Although I prefer to talk about real estate, fishing runs a close second.  King salmon and steelhead are my two favorite to fish for.  Enjoy the picture and remember we work to do the things we love.  We cant take our money with us and no body ever writes I wish I would of blogged more on their tomb stones.  :)

Ben - I am totally jealous.  We lived in Olympia for 8 years.  NEVER caught a salmon.  We had them surrounded a couple of times on Capitol Lake.  The kids would stop on their way home from school and you'd see them dragging their catches home.  But us...no.  Pretty embarassing.  We used to own a fishing resort!

Nice fish!!  I am jealous.  Its been over twenty years since I have enjoyed a day of chasing steelies.  Hope to rectify that soon.  Before Mt. St. Helens blew I was a daily visitor to the Kalama river.  Ahhh the good ole days.
