Central Ohio Schools

When do Franklin County Ohio schools start?  Has the Columbus Dispatch published a back to school list yet?  The paper is running back to school ads... I see I posted a back to school post in July in 2008.  

I dreaded back to school ads as a kid.  I liked the first day of school but I was not as excited about day two and beyond and just generally the end of summer, summer weather, freedom.

The photo is a sign at Brookside Estates Elementary School, a school in the City of Worthington School District.  The Central Ohio school is located in Perry Township.  Looks like those lucky kids have an ice cream social coming up on the 23rd of August.
