He Drives A Desk All Week and A John Deere All Weekend!

One of our major goals was to move to the country in our beautiful Carson Valley Nevada where we could have some space; some land and … my childhood dream … own a few horses!

Well … dreams do come true … and we have them all! Or, maybe I should say, they have us! Even though it is a labor of love … space, land, and horses (donkeys too!) do come with a few strings!

They all need to be attended to and cared for! Here’s a photo of my wonderful husband and partner this Saturday morning!

Hi Lisa~ My husband runs a paper plant all day and then in the evenings and on the weekends he goes and tends our 150 acre farm which is beginning to blossom blueberries.  It certainly is a labor of love and a whole lot more work and expense then he ever dreamed...Tending to all that land is a blessing but also s lot of work too.

My hubby is a chemist but can't find the time to clean the dead scorpion out of the back porch light cover. He says he's leaving it there as a warning to others. Be glad yours is so handy. I have to hire a handy man for most of our honey-do projects.

Too cute Lisa! We'll have to have an old fashioned John Deere vs. International Harvester debate! Steve has Farmalls from IH!
