The Vistas at Fashion Heights is a small condominium complex in the western section of Mission Valley in San Diego, California. Many, if not all, of the units have amazing views of Mission Valley -- Riverwalk Golf Course, Fashion Valley Mall, Qualcomm Stadium, the San Diego River, and more.
Within minutes of The Vistas at Fashion Heights is downtown San Diego, including Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres; historic Old Town San Diego; world-class beaches, shopping, and food; the University of San Diego, and everything else that the Mission Valley lifestyle has to offer.
The Vistas at Fashion Heights is a short distance from Hazard Center and Fashion Valley Mall, as well as the San Diego Trolley stations at those two malls.
You can easily get to Sea World, Fiesta Island, and much of Mission Bay, and it's also easy to go biking, skateboarding, or walking on the many paths along the San Diego River. If you're a golfer, you'll enjoy its close proximity to both the Riverwalk Golf Course and the Tecolote Canyon Golf Course.
The Vistas at Fashion Heights is #17 on the Mission Valley map below. For information on the other complexes in Mission Valley, click on the map to go to my web site and then click on the same map there.
The Vistas at Fashion Heights was built in 1981 and has 65 units ranging in size from 1,350 to 2,065 square feet, some of the largest units in Mission Valley. Floor plans range from two bedrooms and two bathrooms to three bedrooms and two bathrooms. To the best of my knowledge, all of the units have in-unit laundry hookups.
HOA fees are about $400 per month and include common area maintenance and landscaping, exterior building maintenance, and limited insurance.
Along with its great location in central San Diego, amenities at The Vistas at Fashion Heights include swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, outdoor grills and picnic areas, and a fitness center.

Hey, Russel - There you are again, leaving extraneous comments on some of my blog posts. I wonder if I can turn you in as spam -- LOL.
Hey, Jim - The first time I visited The Vistas at Fashion Heights, I thought they had probably just pruned the trees. Each time I drove through, though, it was pretty obvious that they take care of all of these trees on a regular basis because rarely is there a long shoot coming out of any of the lamp shades and the bottom of the trees are also meticulously taken care of, as is the grass. Here's one of my favorite pictures of one of the lampshade trees:

I love how they seem to have pruned all the trees to make them square like that. That takes some serious effort to keep them looking like that.
