After being totally blown away by the gourmet kitchen of this wonderful home, take a look at the Family Room, shown below.

The view is from the kitchen... looking over the full-length serving/breakfast bar, and into the family room.  Notice the full wall of windows on the left side... which is the rear of the home.  On the other side of those windows is a very nice-sized covered patio... great for bar-be-que'ing all winter long... if you call what Fort Worth has... winter ?

Also shown in the far left of the above picture is the wood-burning fireplace.  It is not simply a "show" fireplace, but actually burns real live wood... unlike some of the homebuilders in this same price range.  Also shown is the cast-stone mantle, surround and hearth... a great accent for the fireplace... AND... a standard feature in the home.

Here is a grea view of the family room on a slight angle.  It shows it to be quite roomy, with more than enough room to accomodate the breakfast bar "high chairs"... and a full complement of living/family room furniture.  The far wall is great for a mega-screen digital TV (you have to get your own, sorry)... making the TV visible from all three... the family room, the kitchen and the breakfast/morning room.

This great home measures approximately 2022 sq ft per the builder... and is priced at $151,990.  The builder currently has a program that offers a nice allowance for buyers to select some of the optional features that they want in THEIR home.

And... if you hurry, there's still time to sneak in and take advantage of the $8,000 tax credit that our Uncle Sam and Aunt Samantha currently have available to first time homebuyers... and those who have not owned a home in the past three years.

Lovely Asian feel.  "Real live wood" ?  Now you have to play teacher and I will be the student.  Is wood still live when cut and ready to go in the fireplace?

Karen Anne, What a beautiful home with a great floorplan. Hard to believe the price. Could you please send a few dozen to the Baltimore area and fast.  For that $151,990, does it also include bedrooms and baths?

Jenny:  Yes... after the wood is cut... it is still "live"... but only in certain places... LOL.

And... if you want to get real philosophical, too... it is even "live" while it is burning.  In a "quantum physics" sorta way.  All the little atoms, photons, quarks, nimrods, and whatever other sub-atomic particles you may want to include... are moving... which, by definition, makes them "live."  Doncha think ?

Margaret:  Yes... it is a great home.  And... yes... I'd love to ship a dozen or so up to you in the Baltimore area.  Question.  What would one of these sell for in your area ?  Help me out here... show my readers what a great value this is.

And yes... it DOES also include four bedrooms... yes... FOUR of them.  And two full baths, too.  And a covered rear patio.  And a nice-sized lot.  And full sod front, sides and rear.  And a roof and windows, too, if you must know... LOL.  Two car attached garage... lots and lots of brick... and the windows are E-rated... and double pane, triple thermal insulated.  And... a 14 SEER heating and AC unit.  Have I left out anything ?  Prolly so.  <smile>  So, come on now... what would this sell for up there ?  Maybe both in the Baltimore area, and also plunked down in either Ellicott City or Columbia... just for fun ?
