AMALFI’S PIZZA AND ITALIAN RISTORANTE

I fell in love with Amalfi’s grinders the first time I had one.

It was a regular ham and cheese grinder, sandwicheswith the usual – mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and onions, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar. Nothing that I couldn’t have gotten from any other place – except that it was rather late in the day, and Amalfi’s Pizza was the one of the few places still open.

I have to admit, I was very curious about the bread that Amalfi’s Pizza used for their grinder rolls. It was like nothing I had ever seen before.

The bread, it turns out, was the secret to Amalfi’s Pizza making a great grinder. Amalfi’s Pizza makes its own grinder and sandwich rolls fresh in the shop.

And the size – oh, Lord – the size of the grinder rolls makes it worth going to Amalfi’s Pizza for a grinder, no matter what kind (and they offer many selections of both cold and hot grinders) all the time.

Don’t take just my word for it. I have gotten my wife hooked on Amalfi’s grinders, and almost every Friday, several of my colleagues at the school in which I teach and I regularly order grinders for lunch from Amalfi’s Pizza.

Just last month, Amalfi’s Pizza expanded to include Amalfi’s Italian Ristorante across town, offering the same great grinders, and other Italian cuisine – in a very elegant restaurant setting.

If Amalfi’s Pizza and Italian Ristorante regular menu offerings are any indication, Amalfi’s Pizza and Italian Ristorante catering services must definitely be to die for.

Renee - Don't get ME started. I could use another one right about now...and I just had a meatball grinder the other day. I am quite convinced that I've even got my grandmother hooked on Amalfi's now...
