Services for Real Estate Pros with Cindy Cali, Virtual Assistant

Dear Active Rain Members,

I'm a newbie to Active Rain having just joined yesterday based upon a referral from a fellow Virtual Assistant. My compliments to the designer of this site - it is really a gem!

As a practicing Virtual Assistant, I have more than 25 years' experience in management, supervision, and administrative support in both the private and public sectors. I was prompted to specialize my practice by providing remote administrative support services to real estate professionals because the basic nature and processes of the real estate industry truly lend themselves to partnering with a Virtual Assistant.

Located in Sonoma, California in the heart of the Wine County, I am able to provide support services anywhere in the world thanks to the advances in technology. I look forward to learning from each of you and wish each of you continued success in your professional pursuits.

Virtually yours, Cindy Cali

I'm sure there is a place for the virtual assistant but unless you have loads of listings under contract I don't really see the need.  Anyone should easily take care of 6-10 under contract listings without going crazy!

Patricia, while I understand your comments that using a VA is not important to you, I think you'll find many realtors see significant value in partnering with a VA - note Rebecca Savitski's comments above. In my view what a real estate professional wants to spend most of their professional time on is building listings, closing sales, and marketing their services, not being bogged down with the mundane activities like database/contact management, mailings, filing, MLS postings, brochures, business cards, promotional materials, etc. These are the areas where a VA can be instrumental in support of a realtor's business goals. While many realtors may have the good fortune to have in-house staff providing these services, many do not and must perform these tasks daily in addition to their primary goal of real estate sales. Obviously a VA is not the answer for everyone, but it certainly is a valuable resource to many.

Hello Ms. Cindy, Virtual Assistant!

I'm in Sonoma too!  would love to meet for coffee or just a phone call.  I don't have a VA, but would like to know more about them.  Thanks.
