Years ago, it was recommended that I NOT focus on model homes. Instead, it was suggested that I "leave that up to the interior decorating companies that exists as they're the pros." By golly, that was all I needed. Based on my success with home staging resale homes, I knew with all the certainty in the world that I could stage a model home.
I was right.
In the past four years, I've had the good fortune of staging many model homes throughout Atlanta. In fact, one of the homes was featured on the front page of the living section in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Prior to the article coming out, we had 9 homes under contract in less than 2 weeks.
So what made staging model homes a reality for my company?
- I was on a mission. I knew that I could provide an cost effective solution that would save the builders and investors thousands of dollars.
- I applied the same logic as I did with my home staging projects. Buyers need to emotionally connect with the home. Nothing new there.
