Trying to balance real estate with family and civic obligations can be a challenge at best. Do you delve into a project, running comps, updating records, or contacting clients and someone wants to ask a question or the phone rings or other things distract you from the task at hand and you go on to a different subject or item than you were working on. You come back to the task only to have another interruption?

Try this technique which can help the feeling of frustration with distractions, by taking a few minutes in quiet and the end of the day and list the important must do jobs ahead. Decide what must be done the next day and then keep this list in front of you all day so you can refer to it often. Doing this will not let you work on less important items or become distracted.

You're right - it certainly is easy to get distracted.  I find that I have to leave ActiveRain till the end of the day, or I don't get anything else done except read and post comments.
