Riverfest 2009 replaces Cornfest as
Bullhead City 86442's annual Fall kickoff, and even though EVERY year's Cornfest as far back as I can remember has been a blast
Riverfest 2009 may be the biggest -- baddest -- and most fun event of all!
September 11th, 12th and 13th at Bullhead City, AZ 86442's riverfront boater, sports and outdoor oasis, Rotary Park.
Rotary Park's had a recent facelift with the addition of a skateboard park and playground area -- and the event will host professional and amateur Wakeboard and Wakeskate competitions featuring some of the biggest names in the sport such as Ricky Gonzales, Nick Taylor, AJ Rancinelli and Joey White.
Riverfest 2009 will also host a Freestyle BMX competition announced by Rick Thorne, and a Skateboard Competition hosted by Satellite 13 with a demo by Pharmacy Skateboards.
If you're more into 'trad sports', an adult softball tournament will feature local and out of town teams.

But the coolest offering from Riverfest 2009 will be the THREE entertainment stages:
The family stage featuring local dance troupes and hypnotic magic. (Ooo, hypnotic magic! I wonder if I can get the Shredder up there to 'relearn' his housecleaning skills! ) ;)
In the beer garden will be an adult contemporary stage sponsored by Lazy Harry’s Bar & Grill featuring local bands as well as a few surprises. This is where Blood Orange Project will play on Saturday night!
The alternative stage sponsored by Our Local Scene that will feature local and well known touring acts such as Voodoo Glow Skulls and The Skeletones. (You will LOVE seeing the Skulls who have been a Cornfest favorite!)

Many of the area's non-profit organizations will run game booths for the young at heart to enjoy all weekend.
And local businesses will be there to provide food, drink, arts and crafts.
Riverfest 2009 hours:
Friday 3:00 -- 10:00 p (all times MST/PDT)
Saturday 10:00 a -- 10:00 p
Sunday 10:00 a -- 4:00 p
Kids of all ages are welcome! This is your opportunity to see your favorite bands if you're under 'bar/casino' age!
