If you leave a comment, Russel will visit your blog and comment. In this modern world where everything seems to change so rapidly, I sometimes feel like someone or something is trying to strangle me.

Personal experience is good when I have a Client who tells me that she feels like technology is strangling her life.

If we let it, merely living can become an entanglement, strangling everything that should be dear to us -- family, friends, career.

Fear not, though, because the same entanglement and strangling happens elsewhere under the aegis of Mother and Father Nature:

Entangled and strangled?

Entangled and strangled?

Entangled and strangled?

Slow down, give thanks for what you have, untangle your life, and enjoy it. Remember what my wise old grandmother said:

Life is a journey, not an end. Enjoy the journey.

To which I added many years later:

And take lots of pictures to share with others in your life.

Awesome analogy, Russel!  I have been feeling a little strangled lately.  Hopefully that's changing!

What an unusual photo theme! I also like the analogy. After a technology class last week, I have been reorganizing. Today, I emptied all of my email inboxes. Yay! Untangled I feel.

I love trying to figure out which part of Zoey is where...the slimy, creepy crawlies....ewwww..Tangles...that can be the term for what lots of lenders find themselves in these days ..snarls and tangles don't get there overnight and they won't disappear with one application of conditioner...gotta work at it....

Hey, Michelangelo - What about all those Manhattan pigeons? We have some of their cousins out here.

Hey, Sharon - Just slow down, breathe, look at something beautiful to help your eyes relax, and carry on.

Hey, Katerina - I have no doubt that you, of all people, are on a pleasant journey, with only a few bumps in the road and small hills to climb.

Hey, Andrea - I have a whole book of sayings from my wise old grandmother. I've even added some posthumously.

Hey, Lou - She was a wise old lady, but her memory lives on.

Hey, Maria - I have all of my email boxes forward to just one. It saves a lot of time trying to log in everywhere to read emails.

Hey, Tony and Darcy - Not only is there lots of beauty in nature, but lots of motivation and inspiration, too.

Hey, Sally - With my telephoto and macro lenses on the Canon Rebel, I'm able to get some pretty interesting pictures of Zoey the Cool Cat and all her entanglements.

Hey, Diane - I hope you're going to let us in over at your blog about how you unwound last Saturday.

Hey, Jim - Unfortunately, I didn't realize the full truth of that until she was gone. Seems lots of things in life work that way.
