10 Comments on ... And Mother Nature Danced ...
Hello Carol,
Your photo and words are beautiful! I truly enjoyed your post. Thank you so mucy for sharing. Wishing you a fabulous week!
Rita
Fantastic, Carol! The light in the cloud almost seems to move as I look at the photo.
Carol, that is a great photo! Looks ominous!
Carol, looks like fingers reaching for those wires! Great photo, thank you.
Rita - Thank you for the kind words. Enjoy a prosperous week!
Maria - Thanks! It was actually a fluke shot. I just held the remote button down and ran through 100 frames to see if I could catch just one show of the lightening.
Tony & Darcy - Thanks. Actually there was no storm, no rain. All the lightning was contained in that one cloud. It was very odd.
Andrea - I don't want to think what would happen if those fingers actually made it to those wires. LOL We would be in the dark out here in the boonies for a while, I'm afraid.
Mother Nature has danced a lot lately, I think she should rest awhile she is aging!
I agree with Caron-she has been dancing almost daily here! Great shot!
Hi Carol... WOW! That's definitely a "high drama" photo! Did you get a good storm from that cloud?
Carol, Of course the photo is spectacular but it made me think of mother nature....we either marvel at her beauty or are terrified of her temper! And she can certainly change in a second :)
Caron - Nice way of saying that the rainy days are getting old! lOL Thanks for stopping by!
Debra - It's a conspiracy! LOL
Steve - That cloud was actually about 35 miles NE of us. We didn't get a drop of rain, but where the cloud actually was got a few short bursts. And NO thunder either! Truly different. :)
Carole - She is certainly fickle, isn't she? But she keeps life interesting.
