Russel, beautiful pictures, and your post is very down to earth. Yes indeed, we can all be stars. Great post! Thank you, sometimes a reminder is a very good thing.
Russel...love this post, and the beautiful flowers. I am a star to my sisters, and my husband is my star.
I really liked your pictures. Tomorrow I am going to look for stars in nature. There are already a lot of people areound me that I consider stars.
Russel - I love your photographs and I am a star even if I don't win the contest, and I am a little modest also!

Fantastic post and photos Russell. You always find a way to find the beauty in what is all around us that we fail to look at. Of course, I'm beginning to believe that you could find beauty in a pile of dog poop! Have a fantastic evening!
Russel, great post! I have been fortunate to have crossed paths with many stars in my life! My wife, Darcy, is certainly a star for me as have many others! Great photos and words!
Great stars, They seem to be everywhere we look. Thanks for sharing your star photos.
Russel,
I love the pictures! They are so beautiful! My family still loves to enjoy the stars at night from our back deck.
Thank You for the inspiring words!
Judy
Russel, There are stars all around---if we keep our eyes open. I often look to the sky and wish I could read the clouds...or the stars.
Hi Russel, Terrific photos! There are so many stars out there! I think I am a star in my grandson's eyes, when I have all the sprinkles, and decorations to make his favorite gingerbreadmen!
Russel great pictures of flowers never thought of them as stars you are sooooooooo correct I need appreciate them in that light... have a great weekend.
Hey, Andrea - Most people think stars are in the sky, but there are many stars on Earth, including over six billion people who could be stars.
Hey, Rebecca - AND you have a beautiful hibiscus star, too!
Hey, Team Honeycutt - I suspect there are a few people in your office who are stars, too, most specifically, probably, the founding members of Team Honeycutt!
Hey, Robert - I suppose you included a picture of that huge star called the sun so that you could outshine all the other stars - LOL.
Hey, Jim - I've been trying to find the comment on poop because I didn't remember who it was or what blog post it was in. Now that I've found you....
Hey, Tony & Darcy - No surprise that there are some stars in southern Utah where the skies aren't clouded by smog.
Hey, Diane - There are even more stars once we do start looking.
Hey, Judy - You can send me some stars at night if you'd like. Ours are almost always obscured by the marine layer.
Hey, Carole - I actually would be willing to bet that YOU actually can read the clouds and stars.
Hey, Mary - So you're a gingerbread star. I think Zoey the Cool Cat thinks of me the same way, as her food star, love star, and pooper scooper star.
Hey, Lynn - Five-pointed stars are the most common, and they are everywhere - Dallas Cowboys, many car wheels, etc.
Russel: I am just now reading some posts linked within Wordless Wednesday. Great photos of the "stars" with no poop. I'm not sure about what appears to be a dead baby chick in the road. There was disconnect and disharmony for me seeing that at the end of all the beauty.
