Day 1 of your 90 Day Action Plan.

Today we are announcing the launch of the HREU 90 Day Massive Action Plan. You will now be learning exactly what you need to be doing for the next 90 days to end your 2009 on track and in many cases ahead of the curve. HREU will be launching new coaching programs this month….programs you have been asking for and we know you will love. We will be telling you about these new coaching programs over the next week or so. For example, check out this video about the new Agent MindSet Secrets coaching program.

Here is why we are doing this: We have been coaching agents for years and we know that many of you are at a crossroads…the same crossroads that every agent comes to this time of year. At this point in the year, you’re either ahead of the curve, behind the curve, or right on track.

Lets get rolling with a question, what kind of agent are you?

Ahead of the curve agents are having their best years ever. They took action to learn the new skills this market requires 6-12 months ago and as a result they are helping more people and making more money than they ever would have dreamed of. Are you this type of agent?

Or, are you behind the curve. Are you struggling to stay afloat? Maybe you're not sure if you will stay in real estate. Have you been hoping and praying that somehow the real estate markets would magically return to how they were 2-3 years ago? If you are this type of agent, know this: its NOT too late….provided you take massive action NOW.

Many of you are right on track. Your year is turning out more or less as you had intended. Sure there have been some hard months but, there have also been a few successes. You are going to have an OK year and at this point in the year maybe you are thinking you can just coast…

Regardless of what kind of agent you are, read and fully understand what I am about to share with you.

How much time do you have remaining in 2009 to help others and make money?

Because it's August, do you think you have 5 months left this year to work? Do you think that you have plenty of time to make up for lost sales, close a few more buyers…take a few more listings? Well, guess again.

You really only have about 90 days.

Here’s why:

There are many natural, normal and expected lulls you need to be aware of:

1) School starting: When kids go back to school expect the real estate activity to dramatically slow. Don’ t panic - it’s normal. PLAN ON IT, so make hay while the sun shines.
2) Thanksgiving: Remember, most people take the week off.
3) Christmas: This is a 2 week scheduled down time for most folks.
4) New Years: Usually the week after New Years Day is very slow.
5) Blizzards: We are from Ohio….when it snows/ ices over etc the real estate markets come to a halt.
6) Any major negative economic news: And there will be plenty of it. There WILL be another leg down in real estate prices. Expect the negative news to start in the Fall.
7) Any major world events: This one is a wild card.
8) Interest rate hikes: Expect rates to increase in the Fall…early Winter.

How did we arrive at only 90 working days remaining in 2009?

We did the math!

If you take out the weekends and the holidays…you only have 90 days to work this year!


Here is your first homework assignment:
1) Identify what kind of agent you are. Are you ahead, on track or behind? Be honest, and answer that question.

2) Grab a calender and a red pen. Mark on the calender the days you will be working and the days you won’t.
