Worthless Wednesday...A Sequel...!!!

I forget who thought of 'Wordless Wednesday', but for me it has been a copout and excuse not to take the time to write a post on Wednesday...

And for me, writing is the most exciting part of blogging...it allows you to pour your brains out and see, electronically, how your brain is functioning...

And that can be scary at times...!!!

Anyhow, it's Wednesday and I've already thrown up my 'Wordless Wednesday' quickie for today...BUT...

As you can see, I still have the itch to write...and so...

I'll rant for a while about the summer going by so quickly...and how I'm still trying to snag a few days this month to get away somewhere...

Not from my family, but from the daily routine and daily grind...

Maybe a few days just to drop that baited hook into the water...or beach comb looking for treasures in the surf...or, in case it would rain, reading a couple of good books...or just walking through the woods...

Really, just going somewhere, and even without a preplanned agenda...

Scary, risky, scatterbrained, disorganized, mindless...MAYBE...BUT...

Gee, that sounds great...!!!

For a wordless Wednesday I see lots of words on many posts. I agee with you, writing is the best part of blogging. Thanks for sharing so I know I'm not alone.

Fran I am with you on this. I have seem maybe a handful of posts on ww day that need no words. But I think the rest of the pictures do benefit from writing about them and what they mean

Fran, I have never done a wordless Weds and yes, I thought the same as you when they started. However, I don't think it hurts to throw up a photo now and then and let the reader "think".

And here in Rhode Island, summer has just begun this past week. It has rained for months. And soon it will be over. The shortest summer I have ever lived through.

I sometimes post Wordless Wednesday's because it lets me share what is important to me without writing a long blog about my kids or other things held close to my heart. I understand why you feel WW are cop-outs, but I find them as ways to share who we are.
