SMASHBURGER IS COMING TO ATASCOCITA / Susan Brown, Your Texas Connection, Keller Williams Realty

SMASHBURGER is coming to Atascocita! For all you burger addicts out there - this is big.  Smashburger is the latest franchise concept that caters to the burger lover in Atascocita!  They bill themselves as "Every City's Favorite Burger Place."  Here is an excerpt from their website:

Not long ago, people ate lots of ordinary burgers. These burgers were perfectly acceptable. They were inexpensive, satisfied the appetite, and tasted much better than many of the other foods that people were eating. Plenty of burger places were opened and they served billions and billions.

But there was something missing - the need for something satisfying and real, something basic and good, something affordable and fresh - a place with a burger soul. A place that burger lovers could call their own and feel pride in recommending to their friends. So we asked ourselves, shouldn't there be a better way?

 Smashburger

Here is a sampling of the menu

Classic Burger  (American cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, onion, pickle & smash sauce on an egg bun)

Spicy Baja Burger  (Pepper jack cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, onion, chipotle mayo & fresh jalapenos on a chipotle bun)

Mushroom Swiss (garlic sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese & mayo on an egg bun)

Smash dogs, Smash fries (fries tossed with rosemary, oil, garlic & herbs), Smash Salads, Haystack Onions, Beefy Chili & Veggie Frites (flash-fried asparagus spears, carrot sticks & green beans)

Smashburger Itself

The Atascocita location for Smashburger is on south side of FM 1960 between Atascocita Rd & W. Lake Houston.  Their website shows an August 2009 opening.  We are ready for you Smashburger!  Welcome to Atascocita.

Susan,

That area of Atascocita is growing so fast.  I just ate over at Which Wich the other day. It is hard to believe the transformation of the 1960 W. Lake Houston Pkwy. area.  Smashburger will be a great addition.  Thanks for the info.

Jeremy, Nickolas and Cindy...I am anxious to try SmashBurger myself.  The Atascocita area commercial is really building up and so is the housing industry.  Thanks for the advice on the garlic smash fries.  Sounds like you have tried SmashBurger yourself before?

Susan--I had a What-a-Burger in Texas, but a Smashburger is something I missed on my last trip to your state. Next trip . . .

The burgers sound great... and I'd love to try those fries.  Maybe they'll make it to Southern New Jersey someday.
