Just a reminder for ALL Home Buyers and Sellers...
In order to qualify for the government's $8,000 gift, in the form of a tax credit, the transaction must close by December 1, 2009.
Which means buyers should have a property under contract by early October, so as to have 45 to 60 days to arrange financing and close the transaction.
Not a recent first time buyer?... It's still important that you have situational awareness of the credit, as it may be a key factor in facilitating the sale of your home.
Wade on in... the water is fine.
It is an excellent time to be a first-time homebuyer with historically low interest rates, plentiful selection of inventory to choose from, motivated sellers, and the federal tax credit.
