THE NATIONAL LENTIL FESTIVAL ~ AUGUST 21ST-23RD 2009 Bring the whole family to enjoy three days of food, music and games. Our area of eastern Washington and northern Idaho, the Palouse Region, grows a third of the lentils in the United States. The national Lentil Festival celebrates 21 years of festival fun and this year it will be more fabulous than ever. This year we will have our RE/MAX balloon (weather permitting) flying high in the sky on Friday evening and Saturday morning. It is a fascinating site so watch for it.
