Speak Out About the Proposed Health Care Plan

I recently spoke with a young person who thought Obamacare was only going to hurt the SENIOR CITIZENS in this country.

WRONG................

Obamacare will hurt every single American, young or old, rich or poor, and with insurance or not..........

In other words EVERYONE in the 50 states EXCEPT the following elitists will be victim...................
Obama and his family
Congress and their families
Government workers and their families

I have a very simple suggestion for all who care: Send your elected representatives via phone, email, fax or letter the following:

"Dear Senator or Representative (fill in the blank),

I do not want to hear from you how much we need health care reform, how we are going to pay for it and what your health care package includes or does not include.

What I do care about is whether you and other members of Congress will be included in the same plan you want me to be under. If I find out that you and other members of Congress are exempt from the same health care plan you want me under, I will devote my energies 24/7 to see that you are ceremoniously thrown out of office on your next election cycle if not sooner.

I hope that my communication with you helps you understand how angry Americans are regarding your elitist position on health care. We are determined that you will either be forced to represent the people who elected you or we will remove you from your mahogany office in Washington, D.C.!!!!"

IT IS TIME TO ROLL UP OUR SLEEVES AND GET INVOLVED.

I think that most Americans are more concerned about the price of gasoline than this budget-busting plan. I fear that it is already too late.

Linda, Great post..read this email I received from a real doctor and quotes the real bill proposed..it is scary and will be terrible for this country...they are trying to ram this through before they loose their ability to have no republicans vote in either house to pass...great work..:)

Pass this along to everyone you care about!!!! Call and email all of your Senators and Representatives! This was sent to me by a friend, whose husband is a Physician. Read what the Doctors think about this mess. Please write or call your Congressman and Senators to tell them you are monitoring their votes and your future vote hangs in the balance. As a physician who has authored books on preventative health care, I was given the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a Congressional Dinner at The Capitol Building in Washington last Friday (7/17).

The presentation was entitled Health Care Reform, The Power & Profit of Prevention, and I was gratified that it was well received.

In preparation for the presentation, I read the latest version of "reform" as authored by The Obama Administration and supported by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid. Here is the link to the 1,018 page document:

Let me summarize just a few salient points of the above plan. First, however, it should be clear that the same warning notice must be placed on The Obama Care Plan as on a pack of cigarettes: Consuming this product will be hazardous to your health.

The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care. There is no focus on preventing health care need whatever. The plan's method is the most inhumane and unethical approach to cutting costs I can imagine as a physician.

The rationing of care is implemented through The National Health Care Board, according to the plan. This illustrious Board "will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment."

Translation.....if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer.....dream on if you think you will get treated.....pick out your coffin.

Oh, you say this could never happen? Sorry.... This is the same model they use in Britain ..

The plan mandates that there will be little or no advanced treatments to be available in the future. It creates The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research, the purpose of which is "to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs." Yes, this is to be the law.

The plan also outlines that doctors and hospitals will be overseen and reviewed by The National Coordinator For Health Information and Technology.

This " coordinator" will "monitor treatments being delivered to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following government guidelines that are deemed appropriate." It goes on to say....."Doctors and hospitals not adhering to guidelines will face penalties."

According to those in Congress, penalties could include large six figure financial fines and possible imprisonment.

So according to The Obama Care Plan....if your doctor saves your life you might have to go to the prison to see your doctor for follow -up appointments. I believe this is the same model Stalin used in the former Soviet Union ..

Section 102 has the Orwellian title, "Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage." What this section really mandates is that it is illegal to keep your private insurance if your status changes - e.g., if you lose or change your job, retire from your job and become a senior, graduate from college and get your first job. Yes, illegal.

When Mr Obama hosted a conference call with bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible, a blogger from Maine referenced an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance.

He asked: "Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?" Mr. Obama replied: "You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about."

Then there is Section 1233 of The Obama Care Plan, devoted to "Advanced Care Planning." After each American turns 65 years of age they have to go to a mandated counseling program that is designed to end life sooner.

This session is to occur every 5 years unless the person has developed a chronic illness then it must be done every year. The topics in this session will include, "how to decline hydration, nutrition and how to initiate hospice care." It is no wonder The Obama Administration does not like my emphasis on Prevention. For Mr. Obama, prevention is the "enemy" as people would live longer.

I rest my case. The Obama Care Plan is hazardous to the health of every American."

After I finished my Capitol Hill presentation, I was asked by a Congressman in the question-answer session: "I'll be doing a number of network interviews on the Obama Health Care Plan. If I am asked what is the one word to describe the plan what should I answer."

The answer is simple, honest, direct, analytical, sad but truthful. I told him that one word is FASCIST.

Then I added, "I hope you'll have the courage to use that word, Congressman. No other word is more appropriate."

All this health care reform talk reminds me of the old joke:

"If you think health care is expensive now, wait 'til it's free."

Members of our government will never accept inferior health care for themselves or their families - just look at the two private jets they ordered for themselves today so they can be ferried about in luxury. It's a different standard for them.

I had not seen this article. Thank you for posting it! You are correct, we had all better get involved before it is too late...because it will be d*mn hard to reverse once enacted!

Linda I posted a blog about health care reform and our law makers yesterday. Calling and writing them is useless. They are immune. In my blog I included some links to the grass roots Tea Parties and tax revolts which in turn give you other organizations to contact. We need to attend the Town Hall meetings while our legislators are on the Aug break. We need to tell them face to face that we intend to vote them out of office if they do not listen to the will of the people.

Linda, I'm with you...I've already told my congressman not to come home if he votes for this bill because he will not be welcome. Between this and Cap and Trade I intend to work especially hard to make sure he nevers sees a second term in Washington.

Amercians need to shed their defeatist attitudes when it comes to getting what we want. If Congress won't liste to us, we vote them out of office. That is the wonderful thing about this country, we don't need guns and bullets to change Congress, just votes. The sad thing from my perspective is to give up and let the elitists in Congress do what they want. If we do that, we deserve what we get. I join you...............lets roll up our sleeves and get involved. Nothing works better than a unified electorate.

Hi Linda glad there are others out there concerned. Doesen't all this talk of what Obama wants to do sound like an aweful sci-fie furtureistic movie??!! We don't have an American Government anymore, I cant believe that all in congress go along with the president doesen't anyone see how terribly wrong things are and where we are heading?? All I can say is all those who voted are getting their "change" and it's gonna slam them hard if all this does happen, and there is even more things to be put on the table but each one boils down to absolute government control of the American people.

Could we benefit from some changes? Yes. But what really worries me is that nobody in Congress or the White House can tell us exactly what those changes might be. The 2010 elections will be very interesting.

Linda, I need to find an email I received to share with you about how bad some of this plan is, it is down right crazy on some points.

There are definitely changes that need to be made to the healthcare system in ordetr to reduce costs, stop run-away lawsuits, and huge amounts of fraud from continuing.

The problem is that NONE of that is addressed in HR 3200.

Medicare and Medicaid are rift with over $100 BILLION dollars of fraud each and every year.

Why aren't those on the hill addressing those issues?

Lawsuits are ruining our healthcare system and pressuring physicians into having tests done that aren't necessary, but will protect them in case of a lawsuit.

Where is the tort reform in this bill? It doesn't exist!

Back door deals are being made with AARP and phrama by obama, yet we, the public, are excluded from the particulars of those deals. One was just made yesterday. Behind closed doors of course!

Zeke Emanuel...obama's health advisor says this.

"July 30, 2009 (LPAC)-Obama health-care policy advisor Ezekiel Emanuel announced a new "Complete Lives System" for selecting which sections of the population should be killed, in his article "Principles for Allocation of Scarce Medical Interventions."

Published Jan. 31, 2009 in the British medical journal Lancet, Emanuel's euthansia-selection article appeared 11 days after President Obama's inauguration. Then on March 19, Emanuel was appointed to the Federal Coordinating Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research, to begin the design of a Federal system for withdrawing care from those chosen for death.

Though written in bloodless academic language, Emanuel's discourse most closely resembles one of Adolf Hitler's rambling pronouncements as know-it-all Fuehrer.

Emanuel sums up who is to be treated, and who is to die:

"When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated." This may be justified by public opinion, since "broad consensus favours adolescents over very young infants, and young adults over very elderly people."

Seems as though the Democrats are always cleaning up after the previous administration has accumulated horrendous budget deficits and takes most of their term in office to do so. Ex: When Bill Clinton's administration balanced the budget. But this time, the Democrats are putting the Democratic Agenda First! There are thousands of American citizens out there at the moment who do not have Health care and are literally dying to see that this bill is passed!

Could it be that in other countries, like Canada, the most respected and revered Public figure is the individual who brought health care reform to their citizens? Lord help us if the under lying reason the hecklers do not want to see the President's Health care plan go forward. A Democratic President who also happens to be a black man!
