Sparks Nevada Market Report July 2009

Here are the market statistics for  single family homes in the Sparks, Nevada area for July 2009:

  • July ended the month with 139 single family homes SOLD.
  • There were 81 homes in escrow with 93 new active pending.
  • Of the homes sold in July, 33 were Short Sales and 56 were Bank Owned.
  • The average list price for the month of July for a single family home was $191,000.
  • The average sales price for the month of July for a single family home was $171,000.
  • Average days on the market for the month of July for a single family home was 118.

Existing homes sales in Sparks, Nevada continue to post positive gains but the average price of homes sold are dropping as foreclosures maintain a strong influence on the market.

Lisa~ We have so many homes listed with special conditions. And the banks are pricing their foreclosures well below market value it is no wonder they are selling faster than anything else on the market these days!

Christianne~ Thanks for the feature in All Things Northern Nevada! If we are getting short sales approved faster than you guys, you must be waiting quite some time! But way to go Lisa ~closed a short sale in 5 days ~ do tell us  your secret!
