17 Comments on The Village Creperie Cafe in Huntington Long Island New York---Love Crepes?
I DO love crepes, and buy them from a vendor on the street whenever I visit one of our mountain towns, Brechkenridge! There is always a line in the summer, and small bistro tables set up around their "trailer/kitchen" are filled to capacity with diners! What a fun shop yours looks to be!
Carole - Nice job with your promotion of the The Village Creperie Café! I am sure the owner is thrilled with the exposure you have given them!
Hi Carole, This sounds like a fun little cozy place to grab a delicious crepe. Thanks for telling us about it.
Carole,
I must confess that I'm not a crepe fan but this looks like a very interesting restaurant.
Hi Carole, haven't had crepes in a long time, but you have us craving them now! Love the atmosphere her! Question though, what is the Feng Shui influence of all those randomly placed pictures? Just curious. BTW - great written post and presentation!
Hi Carole..I do love crepes..all kinds..I can understand eating them up without snaping the photo..yummy

I hope you had a couple for me! I love crepes! This looks like a truly charming place! If there food is half as delightful as their decorating ... then this would be a winner to me. :)
Cheryl, So do I. They're hard to find around here. I've been in Huntington so many times and never saw this place so I was thrilled :)
Bill, I'm sorry that he didn't have a website that I could link to but I do hope others that don't know about it soon will!
Sandy, The restaurants in Huntington are wonderful....but pricey. What a nice place to go for a quick, good and inexpensive meal.
Cynthia, I used to go to one in the city years ago and it's long gone. I love Crepes and was so happy to find this place.
Al & Peggy, I did not Feng Shui this place...I like the pictures but it wouldn't have been my recommendations for decor. I would add more color and straight pictures along with some other things. But the food is wonderful and it looked nicer inside--my photos came out dark.
Hannah, I love them too unless they're very sweet....I used to love the sweet ones but not as much anymore and I do like to choose my own ingredients.
Carol, I should have figured you for a Crepe person :) It is a delightful place to eat and you can choose your own crepe! You'd love all of Huntington, actually, it is such a wonderful town!
That's funny, we have a little creperie in Paia too. I hear they make an awesome Nutella crepe. Maybe I'll have to go there and do a post on it... thanks for the idea!
Carole -- I love crepes, the savories - not so much the sweet ones. This looks like a fun place to hang out awhile, have a crepe ad perhaps write a note or two.
I love Crepes! I wish we had a cool place like that here in Fullerton. I know it would do so well! We have one vendor that hits the Fullerton Market on Thursday but that is all! Lucky you for stopping in that day! Thank you so much for sharing.
MMMMM!!! I love crepes :-) Wonderfully written article about this fabulous cafe Carole.
Now you hacve an excuse to go back and get some more so you can take a picture Carole! Hope you have an awesome weekend.
Georgina, Crepes are hard to find out here for some reason...I happen to love them and was thrilled to find this place.
Alexsandra, It was not at all crowded when I was there which was surprising. Sometimes there is a line to get in.
Cristal, Except for this place, I know of only one other place and it's quite far. I remember when Crepes were more popular, I wonder what happened to these special little places....
Kris, Goodness, all this writing has me craving one myself...again :) I wonder if it will be more crowded and if this writing helped business (?)
Yum yum! So glad you did not show the crepes...would not be fair if I could not enjoy one right now. Love the way you showcased this little gem. Your photos are beautiful!
Hi Carole-This little shop is really cool and unique. I love all the older pics on the wall. Very quaint. <SMILE>
Carole, this is a great post. I hope you sent a link to the owners. :)
You reminded me of my lunch with my out of town visitors. We had Dim Sum, and they loved it so much, by the time of thought of photos, it was too late. :)
One of them was even brave enough to have lunch with chop sticks for the first time.
It was an adventure.
