One of the great things about Oregon is our many parks. Typically the reason folks move to this area is to be able to be close to nature. Salem is fortunate that we have several local parks that are all within a 30 minute drive. Each has it's own unique features that make it special for a day out.

Melina,

I followed the link to your Minto-Brown Island Park and again saw your photo, that Duck Butt one. I love this photo. I do not think that you used some overly expensive professional equipment, but somehow the result is outstanding. The water, the glimmer is wonderful. The image is very sharp and very alive.

ALso watched you mini slideshow. Loved it.
