I suppose I'm a bit late for doing this, but here it is, my Facebook page!

Jason Tucker

I'm curious if anyone can actually attribute a sale or prospect to Facebook or Twitter.

What are some other social networking sites that work well?

Help everyone out and let us know what your experience is.

Thanks everyone!

I will park myself here and see what your responses are going to be. I have not had any luck with either, yet.

I have to say that I am not very involved in the social media marketing euphoria. I have spent most of my allocations in the last 2 years in increasing organic traffic through other medium and strategies to my sites and this is bringing me more business and leads that I can handle.

yes, i do get sales from facebook.  Not so much from twitter, but i think it is the whole avenue of social networking.  I get a lot of closings from right here in active rain.  11 to date.

Hi Cathy,  Care to share some examples of your strategies?  If you don't mind, I think that's the "good stuff" that could really help people out on here.  I agree with you and for myself, I'm working on developing several complementary Web sites that will drive leads to me in the future.  One such site is http://www.subleasespecials.com  Thanks for the comment! I have not found Twitter to be beneficial at all. AR has been the best with referrals received from other agents. Sadly, looking for an agent for a referral in VA Beach was not productive the 1st time. The lady chosen never provided some preliminary answers. I'll try again next week o

I hear if you do it right and obviously I have not but you can get business. The folks I talk to say FB is where it's at but like I said I am not there yet.

I have made some fun connections with Twitter, but hasn't translated into sales. I don't talk real estate too much there. Maybe I should. For me it's been about the connections and learning. I do find it takes more time than I'd like. I'm scaling back a little. Check me out @bobvolanti on Twitter if you like. Thanks for the post.

Hi Jason - I've written a few offers with buyers from Facebook, but no closings yet. I also received a couple of short sale listing referrals. Facebook and Twitter are just two more places for people to find us online, and each one gets us in front of a unique group of people.
