Forever Pets Review

I bought a three month old chihuahua one week ago, was told she had her first shots and had been de-wormed.  Four days later she quit eating and was lethargic, I called Forever Pets and the owner said, "give her some Pedialyte," I took her to a local animal hospital and was told she tested "strong for Parvo," she is there now being treated for at least the next three days.

When I related all this to the Forever Pets owner, he was totally indignant, denying any responsibility for vaccinations or anything else, he went on to say that," even with vaccinations the dog can still get Parvo."

The Veterinarian told me the puppy should have had four series of Parvovirus Vaccine by her age, (three months). The Forever Pets owner gave me a shot record showing one vaccination, dated the same day I bought her. He also had me sign a waiver absolving him of anything the day I bought her. I told him that was unusual but signed it anyway.

Today I called him back and he said, "since you're a long time customer, I'll give you another puppy, but I'm not responsible for this other stuff you're talking about, you signed a paper." He went on to say, " just leave your dog at the hospital, and I'll give you another one." I couldn't believe he was saying that so I got him to repeat it, which he did.  He went on to say, " that's what most people do, they don't even try to save them."  I told him I guess I'm not "most people," and hung up in disgust.

DON'T GIVE THIS GUY YOUR MONEY, HE SHOULD BE IN SOME OTHER BUSINESS, NOT BE DEALING WITH GOD'S CREATURES..
