This is a great day for the Town of Hantsport..that's the day they invite all the citizens of Hants West to come and join them in the activities that make for a very happy CANADA DAY!

Special activities:

Of course the most important event for adults and children alike is the parade and what a parade.

Each year this parade just gets larger with participants and bands and the citizens joining in.

While waiting for the second important event of the day the"Fireworks" the children can enjoy

the great outdoors at the park with lots of activities just for them and of course their favorite

foods are served by the food vendors.  So many wonderful activites are planned for the

whole day without missing a moment of the day.

This Canada Day if you are in the area go to Hantsport and join the festivities..!

OTHER NOTES OF INTEREST:

The carvings  -  "The Captian" on Main and William Street and "The Fireman" on corner of

Prince and Oak Streets..These are hand carvings and a treat too see.

Fundy Centenial Park  -  Located at the east end of Avon Street...great picnic spot or

walk on the beach.

Hantsport Memorial Community Centre..Features: Ball fields, swimming pool, running track, tennis courts, basketball court, playground and picnic area.
