northwestern corner of Waukesha County it is often referred to as "Lake Country" by local residents. This includes Pewaukee, Delafield, Hartland, Merton, Nashotah, Chenequa, Okauchee Lake, Oconomowoc, Summit, and Lac La Belle.
This time of year there is magic on the Lakes; they have a heart and pulse that truly is vibrant. To see 
whole families and individuals enjoying the water life brings a smile to my face. I also love to see all the wonderful homes and neighborhoods in Lake Country. I am pretty safe in saying Lars sits up and takes notice when he smells the barbecues as we drive through areas.
Maybe I am a little partial to this area as we know as The Lake Country and perhaps people are right when they say that my enthusiasm goes up a notch when you bring up the Lake Country in western Waukesha County.
