The City Bakery in New York City New York....What a Delight!

Ok, I have to admit, I've heard about this place for YEARS.  With all my travels to New York City as a Feng Shui Consultant, however, I've never made time to go there.  Until recently.

The City Bakery in New York City is obviously known for its baked delicacies...many with chocolate on them.  As a matter of fact, you can see the melted Chocolate used right in the center of their lovely establishment. 

What I didn't know about The City Bakery in New York City, NY was that it served a huge variety of healthful foods which are sold by the pound.  It's a "serve yourself" place and you can choose from a wide variety of healthy things to eat.  This visit was turning out much better then I expected.

It's hard to choose by just help yourself.

The City Bakery is a local, well known, unpretentious place in New York City that is also a lot of fun.  After all that healthful eating you don't MIND indulging yourself on the baked goods-of which there are plenty.  The Chocolate cake is incredible as are the Chocolate Cookies and other special pastries they offer.

The pictures came out dark.  I really didn't want to use the flash in the bakery!  If you make it to New York City or even have to travel a bit, put The City Bakery on your list; it's a winner!

Multi Level Dining...Eat in or Take out.

Don't forget the gourmet coffees.
