You probably do all the time -- you make a selection or selections from a list box.
A list box is basically an item by item list. You have probably seen them when searching the Internet or in a computer program you've used. A lot of email programs use a list box to display its list of messages.
The first selection tip is when you open the list box or hit the down arrow to display the list box -- press the first character of your search and it will immediately go to that item in the list that starts with that character. Don't waste your time scrolling down the list to the "t's" when you can just as easily open the list box and depress the "t" key and go right to that section of the list.
The second is when you open the list box and want to select a range of items. Maybe it is a range of documents or photos you want to attach to an email. Simply click or highlight the first and scroll to the last one and hold the SHIFT key down and click on the last one -- this highlights or selects all the items in the list from the beginning point to the end.
The last tip is similar to the range selection above but you want to selectively select a number of items but they are not in order. Hold the CTRL key down and click on the ones you want to select -- that will highlight all the items you want one by one and speed up the selection process when working with multiple files.
