The Whitehorse Tavern At The Equestrian Club is getting ready to reopen for the Winter Equestrian Festival and the International Polo events here in Wellington Florida.
I would like to introduce you to the best chef in the world, Joshua Rogers. I am very biased of course because he is our second oldest son. Joshua has been in the restaurant business since the age of 16. He is very talented and is one of the best chefs ever according to me; his mother!

A few years ago Jenny Oz who owns the Tavern On The Green in New York opened up a Wellington Florida Tavern On The Green. She became partners with Mark Bellissimo and some others in the restaurant venture. At that time, they hired Joshua as a Sous Chef. Then the year after that he was promoted to Executive Sous Chef and the Banquet Chef. Jenny Oz rides here in Wellington Florida each year.
Last year Jenny Oz and Mark Bellissimo parted ways and Mark kept the restaurant but changed the name to The Whitehorse Tavern At The Equestrian Club and promoted our son, Joshua Rogers to Executive Chef.

Joshua has created all the menus for many of the venues including the main Restaurant which has dinner dining and a tapas menu. The restaurant pricing starts at $6 for soup and goes up to $30 for an entree. The Tapas menu runs from $3 to $7 for each item.
They are opening up several different eateries around the showgrounds including the Tiki Hut which will be serving fish and other items with a tropical flair.
Then there is Salad Fusion which is a 'create your own salad' style restaurant and will also serve Paninis and cold sandwiches offering a healthy option.
There is also the International Club that will be serving breakfast and lunch a la carte for 800 seats and Joshua will also be in charge of 1 to 2 buffets a week serving anywhere from 600 to 1200 people each dinner. I know that Joshua is going to do a fantastic job getting all of this done. He is very good at delegating and implementing thought out action plans.

Around the showgrounds there are also going to be special events tents that will offer catering for the different box stations that serve 20 to 30 people each. These special events tents are only available for dinners and are booked well in advance. These are always sold out on the 'night class events'.
The goal is to have enough food to offer the public when they come to enjoy the Equestrian event and the riders and participants. The Tavern restaurant also is open to the public and Joshua's goal this year is to spread the word to the public that the Tavern is open and the public is welcome.

The Whitehorse Tavern At The Equestrian Club is also available to do the catering for your weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and Birthdays.
