Real Estate Blog - Things Are Looking Up In Brentwood, Franklin and Nashville TN Real Estate!

Buying Homes in Brentwood TN It has been a rough year, with dropping values, buyers that are picky and easily spooked and listings that take more work and knowledge to sell.

Recently things have taken a nice step up,! Showings are up, pending and closed sales are up and I even have had multiple offers a time or two. 3 out the 4 listings I had are sold, pending or under contract! Yay! Good news there.

This is a fabulous time to buy, especially for first time buyers!
But, will it continue, or is it a blip on the proverbial radar? Winter is coming and with that the normal decrease, however, those buyers who are looking in the winter months are serious as all get out! If a listing is priced well and in good condition, there is no reason it would not sell! Pricing is key you see.

I have had sellers unable to understand or accept that this year, and they paid with lower selling prices. We all tell the same story, but human nature is to have to learn it the hard way. Here is to easier learning in the future!

Vanessa - I am so glad to hear that things have picked up in your area - it has here as well!! I agree that the buyers we will see in the upcoming months are wicked serious and wanting to take advantage of the low prices, FTHB credit, etc!

Really right about that, those buyers who are waiting for the media to tell them when to buy will wish they had.

Steve, Yes, they will be late for that bus indeed. I try my best to educate clients and potential clients the best I can is happening in our market but sometimes it does not work~
