You've probably seen them, they've replaced a lot of the "we buy houses" signs... I see them all over the place in Naperville and Aurora. Occasionally, the sign maker/owner gets fancy and has the sign professionally printed:

there's a suc... um... "apprentice" born every minute

So, does anybody have the scoop? A search of Real Estate Investor Seeks Apprentice on Google lead me to the idea that this might be a mortgage fraud scheme... but I do like the term "Street Spam"

We have "I Buy Ugly Houses" signs all over the city. I have called out of curiosity, and they are only buying ugly houses that are realllly cheap. I think maybe they didn't have room for that on the sign?

...haven't seen the Apprentice sign yet (!) ....we still have the Rent to Own, Buy in 7 Days etc signs....

Rent to Own with an Assigned Party - where the middle man gets the money and the Owner a low price (maybe!)....

Guess you have to be "creative" ....

I used to see the "We buy ugly houses" signs on about every block where I live.  They're disappeared pretty quickly in the last month or two.

More bait for those who will try anything to make a quick buck. I don't believe the person who made the sign or anyone responding will put in the effort require for success.

The're all over my area as well in Oak Lawn, Bridgeview. I even see them on a few 55N exit ramps.

The "I buy Houses" and "I buy ugly houses" signs come from students of Ron LaGrand and/ or the "Cash Flow Generator" they were originally the same, but the latter is now believed to be owned by Russ Wittney. I don’t know of a city without them.

The "Assistant" signs are relatively new and I don’t know who"s promoting them, yet. There all over Las Vegas, too.

We all know that quarter million dollar a year jobs are advertised on signs taped and nailed to phone polls on every second corner. The only advice I can imagine would be to stock up on "K Y" before responding for surly you’re going to get....

Hay Bill

Your web site looks just like the site of the people you are accusing of being scammers?  Guess your reii system must have a secret power.....it's called work.  Your system will work as with most of the others.  The only weak link is the people who sit and complain about the "scam" and are to lazy to get off their BUTTS and try something new and different just because it requiers WORK.

 Good Luck

Dave,

You're right! At least as far as it goes about the sites. We're talking about the same dream. But, there are some huge differences!

You couldn't be more right about the "WORK" the scammers never mention work. But, we all know the streets are paved with Gold people are begging you to accept their money! If you've read much of my free material or ever heard me you'd know that like all the Gurus I ask "Do you want to be rich?" But, the next question is "Are you willing to do what it takes to get rich?" What it takes is WORK lots and lots of Work! That's the reason we're not all rich.

Real estate investing is a life style, not a job, it's a 24/7 religion! Many hear the call, but few are willing to commit them selves.
