Musikfest offered many different types of music you can imagine. One type at Musikfest was the Carillon performed by "Cast In Bronze".
Carillon! What is a Carillon?

A Carillon is a 4 ton medieval instrument of 35 bells, played from a modified keyboard with the fists and feet.
In 1480, a musical instrument of cast in bronze bells was created and became known as the CARILLON. Located in the bell towers throughout the world, the instrument and its player were hidden from sight making the carillon one of the music world's best kept secrets.
25 years ago, 35 bronze bells were placed on a mobile carillon from by a Dutch Bell Foundry and sent to America. For the first time in history, the rarely-seen European art of carillon playing could be brought to audiences. The carillon player is dressed in black from head to toe with all parts of his body covered. This is to continue the history of the player hidden from sight. The carillon is accompanied by other musical instruments.
It is fascinating to watch and listen to the carillon. If you ever have the opportunity to hear a carillon, I suggest you take it. It is absolutely unforgettable.
Hi Brigita,
Great post! I had never heard of a carillon until now. What a unique instrument! I can just imagine the bellows that must come from such an intense instrument!
