1. How many years of experience does the agent have and how many sales do they close per year? More experience often means the agent has a lot of experience negotiating and closing deals

2. Where will they advertise your home? Magazines, Websites for example. Today agents should focus on web advertising as most people search for homes online.

3. What hours are the real estate office open? This is important because you want other agents to be able to call and make appointments - agencies that are closed on the weekend may mean missed showings.

4. Ask the agents what they think sets them apart from other agents in their area? Do they have a team of administrative staff supporting them, are the active in networking circles in the area so they can find you a buyer!
