Where: Genoa Park, near COSI

I love the music. 

I love the food. 

I love watching the dancing

Looks like from the website there is  Jamaican, Puerto Rican and Peruvian fare this year.  Well of course there is also Mexican food and "plain old"  American too.  The festival food, lemonade, fries, hot dogs, etc.

* Festival Latino  seems to be an early family oriented event....  last performer each day is 6:30.   I did not go last year (it was not free....) but I go most years.  I was surprised how early it ends.

Actually it's not music the Festival Latino Promo Announcement starts as  soon as you get to the website.   Then it goes into music.  A rather large and startling sound starts as soon as you hit the Festival Latino 2009 website.

Turn down your speaker or the player on the Festival Latino 2009 site is on the right side of the page.   Clicking on another page just starts it over.

I'm not much of a dancer... but I like to watch. 

I don't get indigestion from Mexican food but I don't know if I have ever had Puerto Rican, or Peruvian.  Or even real Jamaican.  I have been to Jamaica.... but just as a stop on a cruise.  Been to Mexico a number of times the best food was in the Yucatan Peninsula.  I even tried the habanero sauce.
