Anyone ever do a short sale with First Horizon?

I've just taken a new listing and the lienholder for a 1st and 2nd mortgage is First Horizon..

Anyone have any tips/contacts/input on working with this bank?

The only tip I have for you is to pray that they call you back (by the way, that's not working for me either). I have a transaction with them, the offer was submitted the first week of January and it is now September 16 and all we get is a voicemail recoding saying to leave your name and number and they will call you back so far in the last 30 days we've left over 15 messages and no call back. I'm surprised the buyer still is hanging on. We've attempted to call upper management but when we type in the loan number or SS# it goes to the same voicemail and if dont press a loan# it will direct you to a general voicemail box. Does anybody have a drect number to upper management???

Wow. That's really discouraging. I'm only in the early stages and having trouble faxing them documents.

The only phone numbers i have for them is the general customer service number. Do you have a number for the short sale/loss mitigation dept?

I'm going to search public information & SEC filings for a higher level contact there.

If I make progress I'll post an update.

Since posting about my efforts to get a short sale approved through First Horizon Home Loans I've received many calls and emails from other real estate professionals throughout the country. Unfortunately it seems that First Horizon Home Loans is not good at processing short sales and lacks the competence and motivation to allow sellers to complete these deals.

I've been waiting since August 26, 2009 for some meaningful progress but have nothing to report.

I'm pretty disgusted and discouraged with First Horizon Home Loans at this time.
