Oh my gosh this is so cute - it reminds me of the cabins on forest service land at South Twin here in Oregon.

Looks like a peaceful retreat... the only thing I would add is a more descriptive location or map,  such as just 120 miles from NYC or 55 miles northwest of Philadelphia.  That information should draw more interest since most will not realize how quickly they could be enjoying a weekend getaway.

This looks like the cottage from the move "On Golden Pond" with Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn.  What is the size of the lot it's on?

Dan, excellent point!  I will add a link to a Google map (I love Google Maps!!).  This little get-away cottage in Pennsylvania is less than 2 hours from the Tappan Zee Bridge, and about 2 hours from the Lincoln Tunnel and the GWB.  

I just listed this cabin yesterday.  When I got there to take the pictures, I didn't want to leave!  And even though it was very hot yesterday, the cabin was comfortable - thanks to all the shady trees and the ceiling fans.  It needs someone to make it "theirs."  It's too cute! 

Chris - I added the lot size.  It is about a quarter acre in size.

Thank you all.  I do not expect it to last long either.   My uncle used to live here in Walker Lake, and I have always had a soft spot for this community.  I used to sit on his dock (he had a lakefront lot) and feel the sunfish nibble my toes!  He also took me out in his boat to go fishing...I have nice memories of Walker Lake and would love to help someone start building their own!

Hello, last poster!  Yes, the cabin is suitable for year- round use; it is fully insulated and has electric baseboard heat.  The owner told me that the free standing fireplace is powerful enough to heat the entire cabin as well (propane.)

That's a nice little cottage! I can visualize it in the mountains where I was born. I'm surprised though that there is something priced that low in PA! Or are the prices not high there like in a lot of eastern states?
