Wow... now isn't that just beautimus :) Great shot Darlin'.
Susan,
What a great shot! How did you get so close?
Ann
Now Susan, in addition to you being a future world class novel writer, and gardener, I am adding photographer to the list for you. I am guessing Monarch butterfly on this one or is it the look a like Viceroy? Doesn't matter. Exquisite and even beautimus as Jesse said...
Do you ever run out of all those many talents you have? : ) I only hope to have equal the talent of YOU in what is contained in your little finger. Then I will be doing just fine in life. Hope your week at the mid point is going SUPER for you sweetie!!
Jesse, beautimus eh? lol! I'll take the compliment and I'll raise you one. You are beautimus too!
Hi Ann! I took about 15 shots and the butterfly was flitting from one zinnia to the next! I have a huge butterfly bush near here, but they seem to like the zinnias the best. I also cropped it so it would appear closer.
Now Gary, my head is so swelled up, I won't be able to sleep tonight! I saw the butterfly from my kitchen window and even though I only had a few minutes, I ran outside to take a bunch of photos in the hopes of getting just one! I loved it. thanks for you kind words. So far, so good on the week! I hope you are having a good week as well. xxoo
Susan,
When do you find the time to perfect so many activities and still raise a family?
Rich
Hi Susan. Lovely photo.
Beautiful colors.
Ken
Hi Susan
That is one outstanding photo.
Good luck and success.

Wow, Susan, is that gorgeous. Butterflies are my "sign." What a wonderful find for me this morning!
Susan, what a lovely photo of that butterfly! You must have had to camp out by that flower to get it to pose so sweetly!
Wow, Susan, I am sorry I missed this one yesterday! Gorgeous picture - love the details - how'd you get so close?
Love that the Monarchs are here Susan. Great photo
I was going to ask how many shots you had to take to get that, but I see you answered that alreay. that is a beautimus pic Susie!
Rich, I am not a great housekeeper! That's how! But thanks for the kind words. xxoo
Thank you Ken!
Lou, thanks so much!
Carole, butterflies are a beautiful sign!
Caren, I saw him flitting around from my kitchen window and ran outside. I took a bunch of shots and got lucky!
Leesa, he was a little skittish, but he kept landing on the zinnias near me and I got lucky!
Paddy, they are beautiful!
Robby, has Jesse coined a new word?? lol! Beautimus! xxoo
That photo is just amazing. How did you get that butterfly to pose for you like that???
Great Picture. May I know, what camera you used to take this picture Susan ?
Tammy, I took a bunch of shots and got lucky.
Suma, it's a Kodak with a 10x zoom. It's just a point and shoot but the quality is always great. My son thinks I need a better camera, but I love that one!
