How well I remember those first few months when I was a novice blogger. It requires a leap of faith to post regularly when your comments are few and consumer contacts are but a glint in your hopeful eyes.
I spoke a with new member who joined in July. She told me she is not getting many hits. I'm sure a smile crossed my face when she told me she just added the fourth post to her blog. Remember, it takes time to build a great blog. Sometimes we get lucky and receive a call from a consumer on our first post, but a body of pertinent content will encourage consumers to return time after time. Give them something of value and they will be back!
As I approach my 600th post my best advice is to post often (fresh and current content is important), keep it interesting with a variety of topics and every once in awhile go back and read through your blog--you may discover ways to improve it as you become more experienced in the art of blogging. 
My parting advice is to build a blog that defines your professionalism, dedication and expertise. This allows prospective clients to get acquainted with your brand and how you conduct your real estate business. It may not be a downpour, but business is sure to follow.
