I was driving on the Martin Luther King Expressway in Colorado Springs, when I saw that a storm was coming in from the mountains in the west. While it was not yet raining where I was, I could see the rain falling over the mountains. It was gorgeous! So, rocket scientist that I am, I pulled over on the expressway, stood IN FRONT of my car, and shot this photograph, (actually a bunch of photographs). I was too excited about what I was looking at to think about where I was, and how dangerous was my position...I can just imagine the headlines - 'Dumb Blonde With Camera Pancaked On The Expressway' LOL
Sooooo, I am thankful I survived my decision to stop (without becoming road kill), and photograph this moment in nature!
