I Googled my name this morning for fun. Now it is an unusual name that people do remember (much more unique than my maiden name of Paddy Smith...Don't try that one at home it will put your computer into overload). My results were: Results 1 - 10 of about 21,300 for Paddy Pizappi. (0.04 seconds) So I checked and it was ALL ME out to page 11. All my posts and comments on ActiveRain. Of course there were things I had written before I was even in real estate and other references too but the majority was ActiveRain related. ActiveRain has given me a great web presence and with my unique name people can certainly find me if they want. But what if they don't know my name?
Through ActiveRain we have the opportunity to create an awesome web presence. As you post on ActiveRain and use the advice that can be found here you can find your posts on page 1 and even on in the #1 position on Google searches for real estate in your location. You can find yourself on page one of searches for local event searches or businesses using hyperlocal posts. Anytime your name comes up and people are reading your words they are making your name unique to them when they think of that location. They will associate you with the area and when they are ready to find someone to help them with whatever service you provide they will call you.
This can happen to you and it won't cost you hundreds of dollars a month either! With a rainmaker account and some simple rules to follow you can get yourself a huge web presence. So good luck to all you new ActiveRain Members. Hope to see a lot of you playing in the Rain!
