27 Comments on The Worst Thing About Dreaming Small Is... What If It Comes True?
C - You ae so RIGHT! I played hookie the other afternoon and just chilled with my horses and enjoyed the baby ducks.
Some times I just need to remind myself thst I have all these critter so I cna enjoy them!
Have a great morning!
I'm spending the afternoon with my new grandson and I can't wait. There is nothing I would rather be doing today!
C- I've been so busy this week. . . out every day, so I'm treating myself to not going out! I'm at my desk catching up. Believe it or not, i've been looking forward to not having to leave the house. Tomorrow however. . . . .
I have a lot of dreams. I have let many go idle but they are still there. Maybe I have to get some out and dust them off again. Have a good afternoon C
Funny how similar things cross your path the same day! Just this morning I listened to a speech by the William Gates Sr. who quoted his son as saying "Don't be afraid to think big"! Hey, it doesn't cost anymore than thinking small so why not! I'm leaving for the airport in a few to pick up a friend! Enjoy your weekend and may all your dreams be big!
That is why it is best to dream big. It is always worth the effort.
Shelton
Thanks for this post, C. It's just what I needed to read after a very difficult day. It's so important for all of us in this business to take some time for ourselves, our friends and our families. The real estate world will not fall apart without us if we go missing for an hour. :)
Carolyn: Always remember this ..... Think Big, Aim High, Act Bold
I dreamt of a clean house today and it only took me 6 hours to get it!!!
I'm also dreaming of my career being able to pay all my bills and then some - I'm starting over this year after being on a team for many years. And with this economy it's making me wonder what cheap stuff was I smoking when I made this decision!!!!
ROTFL @ Malita. I know what you mean. This market whomps and I am having lots of drama with my customers and clients. I had the kids most of the day yesterday. That was very interesting (LOL).
Roland, I shall work on that. :-)
Kristina, very true. We need to do it more often. My husband actually wants me to have a designated day off (LOL).
Shelton, I agree. Definitely worth the efort.
Thank you, Silvia. May you enjoy your day as well. :-)
Paddy, please dust them off. I am dusting a few off of mine that I placed on the back burner as well. I have to work smarter, not harder. I'm not in balance. Can't let the industry take over your life. You have to enjoy what you can and deal with the rest.
Susan, I hope you get that day at the beach. :-)
Gabe, everything is indeed relative. Wishing you the very best in all things. :-)
JL, I'm with you. Everything does seem to work out best when you are just having fun.
Lisa, enjoy every moment with them. I spent most of the day with the kids and the hubby. We had doctor appointments to tend to in the afternoon that ticked the wee ones off, but we made getting blood-work and TB testing fun afterward (LOL). Stephen was fascinating. He didn't mind the TB or the initial needles until he saw his blood come out. That infuriated him. Until then, he was watching the process with great interest and was not happy they took something out of him (LOL). I keep telling my husband to stop calling their blood cool aid. Gives them the wrong impression (LOL).
Sharon, spending time with the wee ones is always a treat. Even when mine are naughty and my eyes start crossing in my head, I have to admit I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world (LOL).
Kathy, treating yourself to not going out can be a good thing. When I don't feel well I stay in and watch Internet TV (LOL).
I just printed your post out and put it on my mirror, this is a great reminder that if we work to hard life will pass us by and that is something I don't want to regret when I die.

You become what you think about most of the time ... think big enough. Great mindset. It is very true.
C - reading that title struck me as so true and pertinent. But, here is a picture from our little 3 day hookey trip.
C, I wish I could play today. But, alas, I have a listing appointment to prepare for. I had loads of fun yesterday with Missy Caulk and Bob Stewart!

Okay. I shall have to update this post to show you what the shorties have been doing while driving their Mama and Papa crazy (LOL).
Connie, mad cool! Now that the wee people are on summer vacation I can go on a road trip and hang with some Rainers. :-)
Big Mike, you are a man who knows how to make the most of playing hookey! Stellar shot my friend. :-)
Jim, people becoming what they think may be a curse and a blessing. I am hoping to do a new thing with my life. I'm tired of the old things. I am tired of whiny people who no matter how hard you try to help them they just don't get it. I am tired of having less fun because I have been working too hard. I need some rest and a few giggles. I'm working on it... :-)
Todd, I don't want to have regrets wen I die either. My mother-in-law passing left a lot of us with regrets. I want to change the direction my life is heading in. I think we should all have more quality time with the people, places and things we love.
What a great way to say it C: Be a tourist and take a FUN tour !!
Thank you, Carla. I have to update this post. I have been very busy (LOL). :-)
