EAT A DAIRY QUEEN BLIZZARD AUGUST 13

Indulging your sweet tooth can be a rewarding experience. On Thursday, Aug. 13, your personal indulgence can become a treat for your whole community.

Proceeds from every Blizzard purchased at a participating Dairy Queen store will help children at your local Children's Miracle Network hospital.

Visit miracletreatday.com to find a participating DQ location near you. You also can make an online donation directly to Children's Miracle Network or promise to buy a blizzard for a friend.

When you submit your promise online, a floating balloon will be added to the Miracle Treats Day Web site.

Thanks for the heads up. This seems like something that I can enjoy, and help a good cause at the same time.

Hi Pat, a great charity with the funds going to there. Enjoy your Blizzard. I'd buy you one if I was there.

Hi Pat!  What a wonderful event.  It's difficult sometimes to do something charitable, like eat Ice Cream! Sheesh!

Pat, I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier...Funny, we MUST have a Dairy Queen left but now that you mentioned it, I don't know where one is. Basin Robbins is what's popular here now but thanks for the information.

Hi Rebecca-It is indeed for a good cause. Hope you enjoy one. :-)

Hi Gary-Thanks for the offer but you should buy your wife one. It is for a good cause and she is your sweetheart after all. Mine bought me one and I couldn't eat 2 I have to keep my girly figure.

Hi Hi Mary-It is such a sacrifice isn't it. But such a wonderful tasting one. :-)

Hi Carole-I sure there were a lot of folks that participated so don't worry that you missed it. I should have posted it earlier. ENjoy your evening. :-)
