Are you able to relate to one of the pictures above? These are the faces of our American economy. Everybody is waiting for something to happen in order to turn this ship on the right course. People are not spending money as we continue to foreclose on properties, unemployment rate at 10% and American people are either losing their job entirely or taking 20% or more pay cuts. We cannot get blood from a stone.

July retail sales are down. WalMart reported a drop in their sales. That translates that Americans are not willing to spend their money. More people are paying off their debt and putting more money in the bank. What is wrong with that picture? Americans need to be saving more money. Perhaps, this down economy is forcing people to be more traditional and focus more on the smaller things in life like family, friends, and Country.

WalMart expressed that they are not worried about the numbers. Why? This company things long term and not short term like so many American companies. WalMart has a game place for the next 10 years and they continue to implement their plan regardless of the situation. We need to example that same attitude. It is the best time to take advantage of this time to start your own business and create a niche for yourself.

Where is the Stimulus money that was promised to the American people? This was suppose to stimulate the economy. Reports state that only 7-15% of the money has been spent. Where is the other part of the Stimulus Money? We need to act today and not tomorrow. What are you doing right now to change your destiny during hard times?
