Just thought id make life here on AR even more exiting hahahah like thats even possible.... but hey just putting my two cents in here and there...
The first 100 Active Rain members to put a comment on this post enter the raffle to win a Free Real Estate Logo design or re-design of your current logo...
I'm also going to be providing real estate logo design services in the near future and would love your feedback on what a reasonable price would be, i see on the web they range anywhere from 50 to 100 dollars. Thats quite steep if you ask me, what do you think?
Bruno -- logos are very important. I don't know what the going price is in my area -- so I can't comment. However, the logo really does say something about the personality of the firm/agent. I would love to be part of your raffle and will check back to see what others have to say.
You had to know I'd be one of the first to sign up for a "free"".
Unfortunately our company logo belongs to my Broker (which may be the case for many). Could you possibly do a "personal" one? Don't know what that could be comprised of....just a thought!
I would love to see you put to work on Logos... We would like a shot in our raffle! As for development of a logo I think you could charge more then $100.oo- it could be used in all kinds of places. I would say depending on how much support you provide for application of the logo you could go up to 500.00
Hi Bruno. I have heard about prices between $150 and $500. I guess it depends on how much interaction and feedback is required from the client. I had not much to say about my logo, and I did not like it, but it was included as part of the franchising package. When I saw the logo I realized even I could do it with Acrobat Adobe.
I would like to try my luck in the ruffle.
Thanks and congratulations on your marketing approach!
Good Idea! I had a logo developed for another type of business, and it cost me $400. The designer met with me to get an idea of what I was looking for and what my business was about, and then he went to work. I ended up with a great logo for business cards, collateral, etc. He gave it to me on a CD in various formats. I don't have a personal logo/brand for my real estate business, though, so would love to be entered into your contest! Thanks,
What a clever idea. I need a new logo because I do not have the original that the artist did for me and I am not able to put ithis one on my new website or the calendars I am buying. I really like the artwork but kind of stuck.
I would love to enter your raffle. It would have to be for a personal logo. I have asked my daughter to design one for me (she has great abilities), but she is too busy to help out her mom.
Were still deciding what price points were going to sell our logos and working on the website to go with it - but you can go to www.gururealestateflyers.com we did that website - logo - flyers etc...
Custom logo design is a hot tool right now. With all the advances and discussion on 'branding' your business I can see your effort becoming very successful.
I don't know about your experience really, but i have my BFA in Graphic Design and also have my own design company starting up named Pixel Perfect Design Company. I specialize in Corporate identity, including Logo design, Letterheads, Business Cards, and anything else you could possibly think of that a logo could go on.
One thing i will tell you is do not under any circumstance sell yourself short by charging way below competitive rates.I did that when i first started designing logos 5 years ago and have regretted it ever since. Logo's are pretty easy to design if you know what your doing, i understand, but you also have to remember where this logo could very well be put. Billboards, and entire corporate identity, stickers, ect. Just think you selling a logo for $50 and it being used worldwide. It's just a bit of a loss on your part. Clients outside of design come to you for good reason. That reason is that they want a well constructed logo and need you to do it, in turn they understand the cost. So just don't sell yourself short! :)
Try this. Look around and get an average of what most designers charge to produce a logo, then charge a little less. Example... a average designer charges $500 per single logo; you charge $300. What is happening is that your charging 200 less, which is a great deal to the client, but in turn not hurting your pockets and you generating more clientell in the end.
I personally am not a graphic designer, however i have staff on board that are VERY qualified in graphic design. I have noticed a demand for LOGO designs and have also noticed that the costs are quite high.
Thanks for the input, i will take it into consideration.
Yeah the demand for logo design in general is huge these days. I actually went into design just because i was an artist searching for a new venture and ended up loving it, but it paid off. The cost are VERY high if you ask me, that's why i do discount quite a bit because even at a discounted price, it's still great money doing for or 5 logo's a week. I hope all goes well with your company. Good luck with everything.
I have looked at a few "build your own logo" sites on the web and even though I am in dire need of one there is something more appealing to having one designed by a pro. Please throw me into the raffle too Bruno!
Do I have to be a real estate agent? Designing a logo for me would be a lot more fun... Think about it and it I qualify, please add me too. If not, how about another raffle for the rest of us? Hmmm .... I'll send you cookies :)
I would love to be entered in your raffle. My company already has a logo design but I am in the process of forming a consulting group for commercial/joint venture projects. We are still working on the name but will soon need a logo design.
Sure, why not, I have been working on my logo on my own, I am teaching myself Photoshop and can do lots of cool stuff with that, but just don't have it the way I want it. It's taken me a lot of time to get to where it is.
This is the best idea I've seen on ActiveRain for promoting your business! Good luck! As to price, I guess you just have to figure out how much time it takes you, how much you feel your time is worth an hour, and proceed accordingly. You will find agents that only want a free logo, some that will pay any price, and a wide variety of opinions on "top dollar" in between - you just have to price based on the value of your time and expertise.
Gee, I thought you were going to wait for 100 to sign up first! If you have another one, I would like to put my "ticket" in for Leslie Bloss. She has been looking for a new logo for awhile.
What a great idea. Let me know when you go live with your logos and I'll put your ad for your service on 3 of my real estate marketing sites - RealtyTags.com , RealEstateProspecting.com and NichesWork.com - free.

Logos are great. I want something to put in place of my picture on ads. I am contemplating a shot of my little cute dog. He tends to be better known on my street than me anyway. -Paul
Hi Bruno, What a wonderful thing to do. This is the ultimate in the experience on ActiveRain. To win something really valuable.
I have been asking around about a logo to match my new site at The Real Estate Text Book . Notice I didn't do a hyperlink. I learned that here on AR, that it is considered rude to put a link in someone's comments that would potentially distract the individual from your post. I 'm learning. Makes sense now. I hope I win the loga design, it should be a lot easier with all to be worked from the web site. I am READY!. Thanks for allowing all us to have so much access to your knowledge. You are terrific.
Hey Bruno, since I'm with Coldwell and Banker I'm stuck with their logo. Still I want to promote me, and my web site. I go by the Luzerne County House Hunter. I can't think of a catchy logo? Brain draws blank.
