FREDERICK COUNTY FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS ARE VERY FORTUNATE. 

Frederick County home buyers are fortunate that Frederick County has numerous programs to assist First Time Home Buyers and other home buyers with very generous down payment and closing cost help.

PROGRAM #1 - Up to $25,000 for down payment and closing costs.  Money can be used to help buy cashforeclosed bank owned homes.  Zip code and income limited.

PROGRAM #2 - Up to $7,000 for down payment and closing costs.  Income limits.  County wide.

PROGRAM #3.  Up to $5,000 for down payment and closing costs. 

PROGRAM #4.  New home buying assistance.  Income limited.

PROGRAM #5$20,000 for First Time Home Buyers purchasing in rural areas of Frederick County (not Frederick City limits).  Applicants attend home ownership training. 

PROGRAM #6.  Down payment and closing cost assistance for full time Frederick County employees.

PROGRAM #7.  Moderate priced homes available to Frederick County residences who work in Frederick County,  Income limited and home ownership classes required.

PROGRAM #8.  Up to $7,500 available from Frederick County for First Time Home Buyers.  Income limited.

PROGRAM #9.  Down payment and closing cost assistance used with other programs.

PROGRAM #10.  Up to $5,000 to match participating employer grant or loans.

PROGRAM #11.  Special 100% plus financing for certain areas of Frederick County.  Income limited.

PROGRAM #12.  Low cost mortgage loans available from local participating mortgage lenders.
